SCOPE has always been making efforts towards increasing its product range over past 30 years. Travelling Wave Fault Locator (TWFL) is also one amongst the bunch of products, it has. The main purpose of using TWFL is to detect fault location to the maximum level of possible accuracy. We are happy to announce that on June 11, 2017, SCOPE received its first order for TWFL from one of the most esteemed customer in Private Power Sector, Reliance Infrastructures, DAKC Koparkhairne, Mumbai. It will be used for two 220 kV lines, one from Versova to Boisar and the other from Versova to Dahanu, both of line length 120 kilometres.
Our TWFL primarily consists of two units, namely, the ‘Traveling Wave Data Acquisition Unit’, XC-100, and ‘Master station’, XCF-2100. The Travelling Wave Data Acquisition Unit, XC 100E is capable of monitoring up to 8 lines, while the ‘Master Station Unit’ is capable of monitoring up to 256 Nos. of substations and up to 1000 lines.
